Following the publishing of results by Epsom College and St. Johns, we are delighted to announce record scores for this year's Sixth Form.
Of the 140 examinations sat, 66% of grades awarded were As and Bs, a new high for Chinthurst School. Tom Wishart (St. John's) and George Hancock (Epsom College) both performed to an astonishingly high level, each securing 8 'A' grades. A further 13 boys also gained As in at least one subject. There were triumphs for individual subjects as well, with scores in English, Maths, Biology, Geography and Spanish the highest they have been for at least four years.
Congratulations to pupils and teachers alike!

An ice cream treat and then it was time for home.
When we returned to School the Remove boys wrote the following acrostic poem:
Box Hill
Brilliant Views,
Outstanding nature,
XXX equals excellent.
High in the sky,
Insects fly,
Laughter and fun,
Licking lovely lollies.

Kindergarten enjoyed a creepy crawly jungle workshop. Transition enjoyed a fun filled Victorian Seaside Workshop and Remove enjoyed a fascinating workshop on the events of the Great Fire of London. All the boys learnt facts via drama and fun.

The other group arrived we had lunch then we swapped over. We went to the golf putting course.
I would like to thank Mr Crellin and Mr Albert for a amazing day out I hope it will happen again next year.
