Looking forward to the next 100 years of success at Chinthurst

Admissions

For the Nursery and Reception classes boys are guaranteed entry by registration.

All older boys are invited to spend a morning or day with us, dependent upon age, in order that we may assess their capabilities.  This also provides the opportunity for a boy to familiarise himself with his new surrounding and make the transition smoother.

Chinthurst also offers a limited number of places at 11+ (Year 7). Very often, once pupils have been allocated state school places in early March, parents may wish to consider alternative solutions. Chinthurst offers the benefits of small class sizes, specialist teaching and a high level of pastoral care as boys are prepared for transfer at 13. Any parent considering a place at 11+ is advised to contact Mrs Kenton on 01737 812011. Entry is based upon assessments in English, Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
All-Rounder Scholarships
, to the value of up to 30%, are also available.
