I'm A Chinthurst Boy - Get Me Out Of Here!
On Saturday 23rd January the Chinthurst held the annual 'Tough Guy' event with a twist. This year we were joined by none other than 'The Whirlwind' himself, Mr Jimmy White. If you haven't guessed it, the theme for the event was 'I'm a Chinthust Boy, Get Me Out of Here!' All participating boys undertook a gruelling course, with the final section being a bush-tucker trial where the boys had to eat Brussels sprouts with two spoonfuls of green jelly on the side! The aim of the event was to raise money for the Tadworth Children's Trust and the forthcoming Rugby Tours to South Africa. The morning was extremely successful, with boys from the U7-U13 age groups showing fantastic spirit by all completing the course.
I would like to congratulate the winners of each age group and remind all boys to return their sponsor-ship money to Mr. Marshall as soon as possible. Thank you to all who supported and contributed to these worthy causes and congratulating to the following winners:
