Sportcheck Update
Over the last fortnight we have launched our Sportcheck text messaging service. This service is particularly useful when there are unscheduled changes, cancellations or urgent and important information regarding your son, that need to be delivered in a timely manner. Indeed, a number of parents received their updates following Wednesday's alterations. We have been made aware that there are parents who have registered on the Sportcheck website but did not receive updates. This is due to the fact that the registration is only completed when you have chosen which package you wish to subscribe to. When you receive your first message from Sportcheck, please text a reply as advised to indicate whether you wish to pre-pay for 20 texts at £3, or pay 35p per message on an individual basis. Once you have selected your preferred option, you will be billed through your service provider.
With regards to specific sporting teams you are able to attach your number to the teams your child is involved in by clicking on the text messaging link on the Chinthurst website. It is important to understand that the school will have complete control over the sending of messages, and will only send a message out when there are last minute schedule changes and important information that affect your child.
