In the Preparatory department each form has one 35 min. lesson of ICT each week covering skills and processes. Increasingly as pupils move up the school they make use of the skills learnt in formal ICT lessons in other areas of the curriculum.

At the different key stages different schemes are followed:

Key stage one: The Smart Learning ICT Series

Key stage two: Coordination Group Publications ICT Workout Books

Key stage three: Stanley Thornes - Getting IT Right Series

At Key Stage three there are three programmes of work: Foundation, Intermediate and Higher. Pupils follow the scheme or elements of the scheme which are deemed appropriate.

For each scheme, there is the appropriate software and hardware.

ICT across the Curriculum

In each subject there are several opportunities in each year for pupils to make use of ICT in their work. Each subject department has incorporated the use of ICT in their syllabus.
