English Department

We aim to inspire an appreciation of the English Language and through this increase our children's awareness and interest in English literature. We intend to encourage effective use, both in day-to-day life and creative expression.

To this end we will create a positive learning environment, in which pupils of all abilities will be encouraged to reach their full potential.

This will be achieved through effective teaching by a motivated, well-trained staff who have clear targets which are regularly reviewed.
