Preparatory The School Day

Daily Routine

Pupils arrive at school before 8.35 am and, on arrival, place their preps and prep diaries on their teacher's desk (pupils will be issued with a Prep Diary which parents are asked to check on a daily basis).

Registration is at 8.45 am. and is followed by Assembly in the School Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays (Forms 1 & 2). On Tuesdays, there is a  Tutor Group / House Meetings and, on Thursdays, there is a Hymn Practice. On Fridays, there is a service for the pupils at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tadworth.

Games sessions and PE sessions vary from Year group to Year group (see timetables)

Lessons finish at 4 pm. and pupils can be collected at this time. Many pupils stay after 4.00 pm. to take part in an activity.
