Fees

We are pleased to participate in the Universal 15 Hours Entitlement, offering up to 15 hours of Government-funded childcare per week for the duration of the Chinthurst School term.

•             Funding applies from the term after a child’s 3rd birthday up to and including the term in which they turn 5.

•             Three hours of funding are available per morning session

Please note that Government funding does not cover meals, consumables, additional hours, specialist teaching or enrichment  activities and outings. These are clearly itemised on your termly invoice.

If you wish to access only the 15 funded hours, please contact our Admissions Team, as spaces for this option are limited.

Important: We are currently not registered to offer places under any other government childcare funding schemes.

We accept both childcare vouchers and the Government’s tax-free childcare scheme to pay for extracurricular activities and may be used towards paying invoiced fees Nursery fees only. Full details are available from the Reigate Grammar School Finance Department.

We are pleased to offer the following discounts for families with more than one child in education within the RGS group:

• 5% discount for a second child
• 10% discount for a third child

This applies to pupils attending Reigate St Mary’s, Chinthurst, Micklefield, St Christopher’s or Reigate Grammar School at the same time and also to pupils at RGS Surrey Hills who joined on or after January 2026.

School fees are payable in full by the first day of term.

Payment can be made by:

• Termly direct debit (our preferred method)
• Direct bank transfer
• Cheque

Fees are subject to review and may be adjusted with one term’s notice.

We also offer:

• A Fees in Advance scheme for those wishing to pay a lump sum in advance
• A monthly payment option through our partner provider, School Fee Plan

The School Fee Plan allows families to spread the cost of fees through monthly direct debit payments.

• Credit is subject to status and affordability. Terms and conditions apply. Over 18s only. Failure to keep up with repayments may result in the agreement being cancelled.
• Reigate Grammar School is an appointed representative of Premium Credit Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 702718). School Fee Plan is a trading name of Premium Credit Limited (company number 02015200).

• A non-refundable registration fee of £150 is required.
• A £600 deposit per pupil is payable on acceptance of a place. This deposit is refundable when your child leaves the school, subject to our terms and conditions

Please note that fees cannot be reduced in cases of absence, including illness or injury. However, the School offers a School Fees Insurance Scheme (from Reception upwards), which provides cover in such circumstances. See below.

All pupils are included in a Personal Accident Insurance scheme. We recommend that personal belongings and clothing are covered under your household insurance.
