Visit Us

The best way to understand what makes Chinthurst so special is to come and see us in action. As a busy, vibrant school, we offer a number of ways for you to visit, depending on what suits your family best.

Individual Tours

Our individual tours take place during the school week (usually at 9.00am or 10.30am) and offer a relaxed, personalised introduction to life at Chinthurst. You’ll see the school on a typical day and have the opportunity to focus on the areas that matter most to you and your child.

Following your tour, you will also have the opportunity to meet with our Headteacher, Cathy Tundle, over coffee. This is a lovely chance to ask any questions you may have and learn more about the warm and nurturing community that makes Chinthurst so special.

To arrange a visit, please contact our Admissions Manager, Louise Hughes, at [email protected].

Working Open Mornings

Held twice a year in the Autumn and Spring terms, our Working Open Mornings are a wonderful way to experience the school in full flow. They offer a chance to see our classrooms alive with learning and to get a real sense of the warmth and energy of the school.

You will be guided on a tour in small groups, before joining the Head and members of our Senior Leadership Team for coffee and conversation in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

When is the Next Working Open Morning?

Our next Working Open Morning will take place on Friday 9 October 2026 from 9.15 – 11am.
Please contact Louise Hughes at [email protected] for further details.

Early Years Fun Mornings

Our Early Years Fun Mornings are designed to give our youngest visitors a gentle and enjoyable introduction to school life. These sessions are relaxed and informal, allowing you and your child to explore together, take part in activities, and meet our caring Nursery and Reception team.

It’s a lovely opportunity to experience the nurturing environment and sense of curiosity that sits at the heart of our Early Years.
