Chinthurst was delighted to welcome students from the Drama Department at RGS Surrey Hills on Monday for an exciting morning of creativity and theatrical energy. Adding to the excitement was the return of a former Chinthurst pupil, now doing well at RGS Surrey Hills, who delighted our children by sharing their passion for drama.

Year 4 and Year 5 took part in dynamic drama workshops, working in small groups to create short performances inspired by the musical Into the Woods. Guided by the visiting drama leaders, the children explored characterisation, movement, and storytelling.

As the session progressed, the enthusiasm in the hall was unmistakable! Children threw themselves into their roles with confidence, resulting in lively performances that brought plenty of laughter and energy. The workshops not only encouraged creativity but also fostered teamwork, communication and self-expression.
