We are thrilled to share that Chinthurst will be opening a brand-new Creative Arts Building later this year.

The project has been made possible thanks to continued investment in Chinthurst from the RGS family of schools. This is together with a generous donation from a family in the Chinthurst and RGS community, and we are extremely grateful for their support.

This exciting development will see our existing art room replaced with a brand new, purpose-built imaginative space where children can create and perform. The new building will enable us to extend our curriculum in inspiring ways, with two spacious and flexible learning areas. One will be dedicated to art, including cookery and design & technology, while the other will be a large drama studio, offering an excellent setting for performance and creative arts.

The drama studio has been thoughtfully designed to divide into two smaller spaces, allowing for more focused group work when needed. This flexibility will support different learning styles and further enhance Chinthurst’s already excellent arts provision.

This exciting new chapter builds on our many strengths, enhancing what we already do so well and ensuring that our children’s enjoyment of the arts continues to flourish across the school. Alongside our new Creative Arts Building, our excellent music provision will continue to thrive, with specialist teaching, school orchestras and our award-winning choirs, as well as a wide range of instrumental lessons delivered through our peripatetic programme.
