On the last day of term, the sun was shining and Chinthurst was brimming with warmth and a touch of magic as we welcomed grandparents, special family members and parents to our much-loved annual Grandparents’ Morning.

Year 6 opened the morning with a brilliant rendition of Dancing Queen by ABBA, setting the tone for a wonderful celebration filled with joy and warmth. The children then proudly invited their loved ones into their learning spaces, eager to show off the incredible work they have created this year. There was no shortage of proud moments as our visitors saw firsthand what makes learning at Chinthurst so special.

After the classroom visits, the celebration continued outdoors as the school playing field transformed into a vibrant tea party. Our special guests were treated to hot drinks and delicious home-baked treats, while the children enjoyed showing them the beautiful environment where they learn and grow every day. There was a wonderful spirit of community – the very essence that defines Chinthurst.

Grandparents’ Morning is always a highlight of our school calendar, and we take great pride in welcoming families to experience the joyful atmosphere that makes Chinthurst such a happy place to be.
