Bringing a fantastic Multi-Sports Week to a close, Chinthurst’s fields were transformed into a vibrant spectacle for this year’s CPA Colour Run. With sunshine overhead and excitement building, the morning was filled with energy as children tackled the obstacle course and embraced every splash of colour along the way.

Held in support The Children’s Trust, the event was a wonderful celebration of community spirit and shared joy. Children were invited to raise sponsorship for taking part, with a prize on offer for the highest fundraiser. We were also thrilled to welcome visitors from The Children's Trust, including some of the resident children, whose involvement made the occasion even more special.

Dressed in crisp white T-shirts and protective goggles, the children were buzzing with excitement as Mr Thompson led a high-energy warm-up to get everyone ready for the Colour Run. Even parents joined in, enthusiastically dancing along to the Macarena!

With energy levels high, the children gathered at the start line. Beginning with Reception, each year group set off around the course, cheered on by staff and families who showered them in clouds of vibrant powder. Along the way, they raced through foam machines, toppled TNT towers and dashed through streams of colourful ribbons, adding to the excitement at every turn.

As music filled the air, the once-white shirts were transformed into a dazzling spectrum of colour. The children showed fantastic spirit throughout, encouraging one another and embracing every moment of the fun-filled morning.

The fun didn’t stop there, as the grand finale saw the raffle winner step forward to gunge Mr Cookson. With a lively countdown from the crowd, he was soaked in a bucket of bright orange slime, much to everyone’s delight.

Meanwhile, the ever-popular RGS horse box kept everyone refreshed with bacon rolls and hot drinks, the perfect treat for participants and spectators alike.

A huge thank you to our brilliant CPA for organising such a memorable event, and to The Children’s Trust for joining us and making the day even more meaningful. Finally, thank you to all our families for their continued support, generosity and enthusiasm – a truly colourful way to end the week!
