Chinthurst marked the end of term with two uplifting Easter services, bringing together children, staff and families in a celebration of renewal and community.

The Lower School Easter Service took place on the penultimate day of term, with spring sunshine providing a fitting backdrop for a joyful gathering in the church. Our youngest children led the service with confidence and enthusiasm, sharing music, poetry and readings that beautifully captured the spirit of Easter.

The Little Voices Choir opened the service with two delightful performances. Buzzing A-Round was sung beautifully in a round, while Spring Fever brought energy and smiles with its lively actions. Reception followed with The Seed Song, performed with joy and bright, expressive faces.

Year 1 confidently read the poem Egg Hunt before performing their song New Life. Year 2 continued with a spirited rendition of Join in the Dance, followed by their poem Easter Treats. The service concluded with a thoughtful prayer led by Year 2, bringing a reflective close to a joyful occasion.

On the final day of term, the Upper School Easter Service provided a fitting and memorable finale to the Spring Term. Led by Year 6 children in Positions of Responsibility, the service was delivered with confidence, poise and expressive reading.

The congregation joined together in singing Lord of the Dance and Praise, creating a strong sense of unity within the church. A particular highlight of the service was the combined performance from the Years 3–6 Choir and the Chinthurst Community Choir, who performed For the Beauty of the Earth.

Together, these two services beautifully reflected the spirit of the Chinthurst community, offering a poignant reminder of the significance of Easter in the Christian calendar and a shared celebration of hope, renewal and togetherness.
