The sun was shining for the Chinthurst children who took part in the TCS Mini London Marathon last Saturday, where they experienced the thrill of crossing the iconic finish line of the London Marathon.

The event offered a unique opportunity for the children to run along a central London route, finishing in the same location as one of the UK’s most celebrated races. It took place just ahead of the main marathon, adding to the sense of excitement and occasion.

Children from Reception to Year 3 completed the one-mile route, while those in Years 4 to 6 took on the longer 2.6km challenge. With over 20,000 participants involved, there was a real buzz in the air as the children joined thousands of others in this wonderful event.

Reaching the finish line was a truly memorable moment for everyone, as the children proudly collected their coveted Mini Marathon medals. Well done to all the runners, and sincere thanks to Mr Musselwhite for making the day possible.
