Last Thursday, Year 4 enjoyed an exciting morning of athletics at RGS Hartswood, joining children from Micklefield and Reigate St Mary’s for a programme of track and field activities.

Despite a few rain showers throughout the morning, the children embraced the conditions with great enthusiasm and remained in high spirits as they took part in a range of events, including hurdles, relay races, sprinting and shot put. The activities provided plenty of opportunities to develop athletic skills, challenge themselves and enjoy some friendly competition.

A particular highlight was the chance to work alongside expert coaches from Reigate Grammar School, who shared valuable advice, techniques and encouragement. Their guidance helped the children refine their skills, build confidence and gain a greater understanding of how to improve their performance.
